Yvo de Boer appointed as professorial fellow Climate Change Policy at ICIS
Yvo de Boer was the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from 4 September 2006 to 1 July 2010. He was appointed by the Secretary-General Kofi Annan on 10 August 2006.

Pim Martens appointed as professor at Leuphana University Lüneburg
From June 1, 2010, Pim Martens has been appointed as a guest professor ‘Global Dynamics and Sustainable Development’ at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany), Department of Sustainability Sciences.
Harro van Lente appointed Professor Philosophy of Sustainable Development
As of February 2010 Harro van Lente is appointed at ICIS as Extraordinary Professor Philosophy of Sustainable Development from a Humanistic Perspective. Harro van Lente is also Associate Professor of ‘Emerging Technologies’ at the Department of Innovation and Environmental Studies, University of Utrecht. The Socrates Foundation funds the professorship.
ICIS supports the Open letter by Dutch scientists on IPCC and errors in Climate Report 2007
In response to the ongoing discussion about the reliability of the IPCC and the climate reports, a group of 55 leading Dutch scientists working in the field of climate change, energy and the environment has written an open letter. Pim Martens appointed as a member of the Health Council
Pim Martens has been appointed as a member of the Dutch Health Council. He will take part in the Health and Environment Group, which focuses on the relation between public health and environmental factors. The Health Council provides advise to the ministers, the state secretaries, and the States General.
